Patricio Tapia - Descorchados (93): For Enlace, winemaker Leonardo Quercetti's team first selects the best blocks of malbec, cabernet franc, and syrah in their vineyards in Agrelo, Ugarteche, and Vista Flores. The final blend—38% malbec, 37% syrah, and 25% cabernet franc—is the result of a second selection, this time from barrels. It's a wine with lots of fruit, lots of spice notes, and a charming nose that gives way to a juicy palate with very friendly tannins and lots of ripe red fruit flavors.
