Albert Bichot Chablis AOC 2023
Albert Bichot Chablis AOC 2023
Wine Critic Reviews
Wine Enthusiast (92): Intense on the nose, this wine exudes intense overripe citrus notes completed by crushed seashells. On the palate its crisp acidity reinvigorates and should appeal to those who relish a mineral-driven experience. Enjoy as an aperitif.
Bacchus Magazine (89): Founded in 1831, the Albert Bichot company is a leading family-owned wine merchant and estate owner in Burgundy. Led masterfully since 1996 by Albéric Bichot, Maison Albert Bichot has been present in Quebec for many years. It offers a wide range of wines, including this excellent Chablis. The nose, well-typed and full of finesse, reveals aromas of lemons, peaches, apples, and white flowers, punctuated by chalky, iodized, and smoky notes. On the palate, the attack is ample, fresh, with a fairly good volume and a certain tension that allows the fruity aromas to be restored. The evolution is not left out with a material that presents fat, but remains well balanced by a precisely dosed acidity that leaves a pleasant impression of freshness. Versatile and digestible! Serve at 12 °C. Absolutely delicious with clam chowder, seafood and lemon pasta, stuffed calamari, oysters, fish'n chips, mussels, salmon pie, or sushi.
