Terroir: On the southern edge of the appellation bordering Chassagne, below Bâtard-Montrachet, on a flat 3% slope, 230 m elevation, limestone marl with many white pebbles.
Viticulture: Sustainable, organic methods, selection massale plantings, 11,000-20,000 vines/ha.
Vinification: Crushed and pressed, settled overnight, ambient yeast fermentation and aging for an average of 24 months on the lees in 300 and 600 L barrels (mostly used), aged for an additional 6 months in tank, fined and filtered if necessary, SO2 only added during aging (typically after the first year).
Terroir: The name of this site most likely comes from trembles (aspen trees) that grew here at one point.
