This lighter, shining red is 40-100 year old baga vines from the limestone laced, clay soils of Bairrada. This was native fermented and aged in stainless, to preserve the purity of fruit. Crushed plums, black raspberries, rockrose streams through this lighter 11% red, with tart rhubarb acidity brightening, and fine, lightly sticky tannins framing. The finish is dusted with pink peppercorn, with a pink grapefruit twist. A fun, bright, and smashable, chillable red to open with friends (1L!) (Treve Ring).
