Mugnier's 2023s are open and expressive, with an obvious crescendo in depth and concentration as one ascends the appellation hierarchy, culminating with the sensual, fragrant Amoureuses and Musigny. As usual, the abundant crop was entirely destemmed before classic cuvaisons, followed by maturation in minimal percentages of new oak.
