 “This limited release is made with fruit sourced from a high-elevation site (parcel 906) at 650 meters in elevation with rocky volcanic clay soils. The lovely Ciro Picariello 2022 Fiano di Avellino Ciro 906 shows impeccable balance and freshness despite the very warm growing season. This unoaked wine appears younger than it really is. Lemon curd, unripe peach and sweet pear emerge from the bouquet. That cool elevation fruit makes all the difference and gives the wine a good runway for cellar aging.”
