Fuller yellow, with the grape skin and apple character of very good Aligoté. It is worth spending time over the nose. This is just immaculate, with such intensity behind and just a little wood. Seems ready to bottle whereas the 2021 needed 24 months. Very long behind. Effortless! Drink from 2025-2030. Tasted: November 2023.

Etymology: Champ means field. The land must have belonged to a family named Forey. Only 75 cases of this cuvée are produced each year.
