Our Tasting Note: Medium ruby red, pink edges.  A very pretty and bright nose, suffused with cherry and berries, good lift, fresh, a touch of rose and violet florals. On the palate, it’s light to medium-bodied, with lively acidity, supple tannins, and a silky texture. Hints of herbs, spice, and earth add layers of complexity. 12% abv.
  • 70% Frappato, 30% Nero d’Avola
  • Fermentation takes place in concrete tanks with indigenous yeasts
  • 15 days of skin maceration to enhance varietal authenticity
  • The cap remains submerged throughout to extract more color
  • Aged for 8–10 months in thick uncoated concrete tanks

Fresh and graceful, this is an ideal match for grilled tuna, poultry, pasta, Sicilian caponata, or soft cheeses. Le Sabbie Rosse, or "red sands," are remarkably fine-textured soils composed primarily of sand with only trace amounts of clay. Their distinctive reddish hue comes from a high concentration of iron oxides. Naturally well-draining, these soils discourage water retention, prompting vines to send their roots deep in search of nutrients. The result is wines with notable structure, complexity, and elegance.
