Medium-bodied, pure, and nicely concentrated, the 2021 Gigondas La Tour is one heck of a barrel sample, offering plenty of herbal, peppery notes, a solid core of darker cherries, ripe tannins, and outstanding length. This cuvée is 80% Grenache and 20% Mourvedre and, like all the wines from this impressive estate, is raised in concrete.
